Hirini Katene aka Heeds has been a full-time maori artist for 7 years. Working alongside the revered Gordon Toi, his mentor, he has honed his skills in ta moko and is also a talented carver of wood and stone. We are proud to have him with us in the studio, bringing his beautiful ta moko work to the Tattooed Heart family table.
